Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water – Coffs Harbour NSW Exciting and rewarding Assistant Project Officer role delivering critical pest management programs for North Coast Branch Salary package of $93,295 to $102,941 plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loading Ongoing, full-time role (35 hours per week) Located in a beautiful Coffs Harbour.

About the role We are looking for an Assistant Project Officer to join our high performing close-knit team to help us successfully develop and deliver critical pest management programs across North Coast Branch.
The role supports the team in undertaking diverse project planning, delivery and reporting tasks to support the development and delivery of implementation of branch wide pest programs, in line with established project plans, legislative requirements and program objectives.
The role requires travel across the North Coast Branch, working closely with other teams and stakeholders.
You will also provide a range of secretariat and administrative services, including coordinating and attending meetings and preparing papers, to support project management delivery.
Key knowledge and experience Experience in the provision of administrative and support services Experience in adhering to legislative and regulatory requirements Experience in development and on ground delivery of programs and projects Experience in the use and management of pesticides and firearms for pest management activities.
