Assistant Project Manager

Company Overview: Our client is a Tier 1 leading commercial real estate company dedicated to shaping a sustainable future through innovative solutions. As part of our commitment to advancing electric vehicle (EV) adoption in NSW, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Coordinator to join the team. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end execution of projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and ongoing support, playing a critical role in ensuring the successful deployment at strategic locations across NSW.
Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and petrol station owners to identify suitable locations for EV charging installations. Coordinate site assessments, feasibility studies, and technical evaluations to determine project viability. Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets in alignment with company objectives and regulatory requirements. Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and vendors to procure necessary equipment and services for project execution. Oversee construction activities, ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and environmental standards. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure timely completion and budget adherence. Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders, including senior management, on project status, milestones, and key performance indicators. Conduct site inspections and performance evaluations post-installation to assess system functionality and address any issues or concerns. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field. Proven experience (3+ years) in project coordination or management, preferably within the energy or automotive industry. Advanced Excel and contract Administration skills. Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of EV charging technologies, standards, and regulations. Experience working with petrol stations or in the retail fuel sector is highly desirable. Strong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Excellent organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Proficiency in project management tools and software.
