Role DescriptionDue to company growth and an extremely busy pipeline, we're taking applications for an experienced Assistant Project Manager to assist our Canberra team with the end-to-end delivery of accommodation projects ranging from aged care, student housing, residential and high-density.
These projects will be a mixture of new build, refurbishment and redevelopment projects, and this role will be best suited to someone who comes with a few years of experience working in project management.
As we are a multi-sector project management firm, you will also have the opportunity to broaden your skill set by delivering projects across other property & buildings sectors such as Education, Health, Industrial, Aviation and Civic & Culture.
Working as part of our Canberra team, you'll be responsible for:
Drafting reports, briefs and other documentation for Senior Project Managers.Assisting with scoping of works and tender processes.Assisting with consultant engagement and contractor appointment.Assisting with contract management and construction.Providing regular updates to stakeholders and building relationships with key clients.Candidate ProfileTo be successful, you'll need demonstrated experience as an Assistant Project Manager within a Consulting environment working across the Property & Buildings sector.
You'll also need:
Qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, Construction, or a related discipline.Relevant experience in a similar role within a consulting environment.Strong communication skills and an ability to build rapport with busy stakeholders.An understanding of contracts administration and management.High attention to detail and a customer-focused mindset.A willingness to work with team members and deliver outstanding outcomes for clients.Experience with design and construction phases of projects from the Property & Buildings sector.What's In It For YouThis role is a great opportunity for someone looking to take the next steps in their Project Management career and expand their capabilities across multiple sectors.
