Full time temporary role available up to December 2027Parramatta, Lismore or Coffs Harbour based roles but other locations in NSW may be considered subject to an approved NSW Reconstruction Authority Office based role with flexible work options and hybrid arrangements available.Clerk Grade 5/6 Salary ($97,027 - $107,059 per annum) plus employer's contribution to superannuation and annual leave loadingWe are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Program Coordinator to join our Community Recovery Programs Branch.
In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the effective delivery of community recovery program funding.

About the Role Support Program Delivery: Undertake a range of administrative activities to ensure efficient and compliant management of grants and other funding programs in line with policies, strategies, and standards.Contribute to Projects: Assist with various projects and initiatives aimed at enhancing community recovery programs.Data Management: Compile, analyse, and interpret data to support performance monitoring, program design, and evaluation.Research and Reporting: Conduct research, gather relevant information, and prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for senior management.This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community recovery and resilience while growing your skills in program coordination and administration.
About You Knowledge: A sound understanding of NSW Government Grants and Procurement legislation, policy frameworks, and project management principles.Attention to Detail: Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage data, track compliance, and support accurate reporting.Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse and interpret data to inform decision-making and program outcomes.Communication: Clear and concise communication skills for preparing reports, presentations, and correspondence.Team Player: A collaborative approach to working with colleagues, supporting projects, and contributing to shared goals.Tertiary qualification and/or relevant knowledge and experience.If you're enthusiastic about supporting community recovery and are ready to contribute to a dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.
About the Agency The NSW Reconstruction Authority (the Authority) is a statutory corporation within Planning, Housing and Infrastructure.
The Authority will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the Authority will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government.
When disaster does strike, we will get recovery started swiftly and coordinate reconstruction efforts across agencies, communities, and other stakeholders.
