This position will commence January 1, 2025 (or as soon as possible thereafter) and will conclude on December 20, 2025, subject to budgetary approval.The successful candidate will possess a minimum of a graduate degree in a relevant field of study. Qualified applicants should have demonstrated teaching experience in delivering courses in Canadian Government, Canadian Public Administration, and Public Sector Management. Required courses in each of these areas are used to meet the subject requirements for the undergraduate Diploma in Government Management Program (DGM).Sample courses that could be assigned for the 2025 semesters include Introduction to Canadian Government and Politics, Introduction to Canadian Public Administration, Public Sector Management, Provincial Politics in Canada, Government-Business Relations in Canada, Local Government in Canada, Leaders and Leadership, and Canadian Public Administration: Financial and Human Resource Management. The ability to teach quantitative or qualitative research methods would be considered an asset.Course loading would consist of 3 courses in the winter semester and 3 courses to be assigned over the following semesters.
