In support of CBU's strategic priority to "Indigenize the L'Nu way", the Shannon School of Business has incorporated a mandatory Indigenous business course into its BBA core, and includes courses in indigenous business in its MBA and Bachelor of Hospitality and Tourism Management programs. Further, the School is home to the Purdy Crawford Chair in Aboriginal Business Studies and our MBA program has a partnership with CANDO.The department is seeking collaborative candidates with demonstrated evidence of effective teaching and research in Economics. Courses may be assigned depending on qualifications and experiences. Applicants are expected to demonstrate potential and commitment with regard to teaching, research/creative/scholarly activities and service to Cape Breton University, community and profession.Candidates should have a minimum of a doctoral degree in economics or a closely related field from an accredited University.
