The Opportunity We are currently seeking a motivatedWorkshop Assistant Production Managerto join our team atGeminiTownsville.
This is a 'hands on' role and will be working with and supporting our Workshop Production Manager and team, assisting in the areas of parts, estimating and technical repairs and guidance.
This position is a great opportunity for a paint or panel technician that may be looking to advance their career in a varied role where no two days are the same!
This is a permanent full-time role. Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week - No Weekends!
Role Responsibilities include but not limited to:
Processing vehicles upon arrivalLiaising with insurance companies and following up authoritiesAssisting with ordering & receipting parts, paints & consumablesAssist management of the site to ensure customer satisfactionQuality control - assist in performing final inspections on all vehicles ensuring all are repaired to manufacturer's specificationsLiaising and supporting workshop staffOversee the housekeeping within the workshopDoes this sound like you?
