This role involves overseeing day-to-day operations, maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene, and driving continuous improvement in production processes.
Key Responsibilities: Lead, train, and manage a team of production staff.Monitor performance, manage rosters, timesheets, overtime, and address behavior issues.Conduct daily toolbox talks, oversee production volume, and ensure staff sign-off.Ensure health, safety, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards are met, and report defects for improvement.Oversee waste management, giveaway reports, and manage production costs through continuous improvement.Document and implement standard operating procedures and conduct studies to improve efficiency.Track production line performance, maintain GMP principles, and ensure end-of-day cleaning.Assign tasks based on specialisation, set production objectives, and implement action plans to achieve targets.Oversee the maintenance, repair, and replacement of production equipment.Coordinate with the Kitchen production team to align production processes.Meet labor cost KPIs and prepare production reports for operations management and performance reviews.Desired Skills and ExperienceOur ideal candidate for the Morning Shift Assistant Production Manager role will possess the following qualifications and skills:
Minimum of 3 years in a leadership role within a manufacturing environment in the FMCG industry.Strong understanding of food processing/manufacturing environments, HACCP, OH&S, and good manufacturing practices.Proven experience leading high-performing teams and managing process improvement.Excellent communication, internal consulting skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.Familiarity with warehouse systems for managing stock of raw materials and consumables.High accuracy in completing tasks and managing time effectively.If this role sounds like the perfect fit for you, apply now and join our dynamic team!
