Assistant Production Manager

Our client is looking for a hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support and assist the Production Manager.
You will be responsible for ensuring smooth and efficient operations across the manufacturing operations, while maintaining high-quality standards, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, and leading daily activities.Key Responsibilities:Plan and schedule daily production to meet deadlinesPreparing and analysing manufacturing reportsReviewing manufacturing operations and processes and driving continuous improvementsConduct regular safety checks, hazard reporting and ensuring adherence to all safety and workplace regulationsAd hoc administration tasks as requiredYou Will Possess:A strong production background, preferably in steel manufacturing/fabrication industryExperience in lean manufacturing practices and safety awarenessHands-on approach with a can-do attitudeExcellent attention to detail and multitasking skillsBenefits:Excellent remunerationGreat working environment – clean, safe and new facilitiesCareer progression opportunitiesIf this sounds like what you are after, we want to hear from you!
