The role of the Assistant Principal: Teaching & Learning is to provide strategic and operational leadership of Teaching and Learning at the College. Selection Criteria:
Maintain a current Northern Territory Working with Children Check (Ochre Card). Registered Teacher of the Northern Territory. Masters in Educational Leadership, or a similar/relevant field, or the willingness to commence study. Willingness to support, contribute and lead in the area of Catholic Identity, Mission and Tradition. Experience in leading curriculum, pedagogy & assessment in the Senior Years. Ability to facilitate the planning, implementation and evaluation of sound educational policies and practices. Capacity to lead, develop and manage a team that leads to improved student outcomes. Highly developed administration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. High level interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate appropriately, effectively and professionally with a range of stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Ability to build trust and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Ability to work in accordance with College, System and jurisdiction policy, processes and legislation. What we Offer:
