St Patrick's College, Ballarat is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in the Edmund Rice tradition.
The College is structured into three schools - Junior (Years 7 & 8), Middle (Year 9 & 10) and Senior School (Years 11 & 12) - and has an enrolment of approximately 1300 boys.

The College was founded in 1893 and is governed by Edmund Rice Education Australia Victorian Schools Limited (EREA VSL).

The Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will lead the vital area of student pastoral care and wellbeing.
They will articulate a clear vision in their role, ensuring a whole school approach to the pastoral care of students from staff.
The Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will develop an understanding of and commitment to the relationship between student wellbeing and educational outcomes.

The Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will be responsible for ensuring students, support staff and teachers receive the nurture and support required for them to flourish within the College community.

The Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will demonstrate a genuine understanding of the educational theory and practice involved in boys' education and will lead staff in the delivery of best practice in achieving positive outcomes with and for our students.
The Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will have strong relational leadership skills.

Working in partnership with other school leaders to achieve the College's purpose and strategic priorities, the Assistant Principal – Pastoral & Wellbeing will be an active member of the College Leadership Team.
As such, they will be required to demonstrate a visible and relational approach and ensure that the College's philosophy, aims, objectives and Mission Statement are reflected in their role.
