Our Client has been established in the community for 125 years and is continuing to grow in both student population and infrastructure.
They are innovative in creating learning spaces that suit all students and allow teachers to work collaborative with colleagues to ensure all measures of success are meet for all involved.
Permanent teaching role with a 2-year Assistant Principal contract, subject to renewal based on performance.
Role Responsibilities Demonstrate and model values such as integrity, respect, and compassion in personal interactions and while carrying out the day-to-day duties of the position.
Provide leadership in fostering a strong, inclusive school identity and culture that aligns with the school's vision and mission.
Promote and encourage the development of effective relationships between the school and the broader community through open communication and shared initiatives.
Lead the integration of core values and principles across the curriculum to ensure a holistic and inclusive educational experience.
Support and collaborate with coordinators to enhance curriculum and programs that engage students and foster a sense of community and belonging.
Take a leadership role in creating an environment that is welcoming, inclusive, empowering, and equitable.
Collaborating with the Principal and School Leadership Team: Support the daily management and administration of the school.
Lead continuous improvement efforts and evaluate school improvement processes.
Contribute to the development and review of the Annual Improvement Plan and Annual Report.
Ensure compliance with regulations and school policies.
Maintain clear communication and follow-up processes within the school community.
Oversee procedures for managing and accessing school records.
Assist with staff recruitment, onboarding, and professional development.
Foster teamwork, professionalism, and a positive workplace culture.
Lead the implementation of student support frameworks addressing wellbeing, behaviour, and academic needs.
Strengthen collaboration and partnerships with parents.
Manage conflicts and complaints fairly and transparently.
