Assistant Payroll AdministratorAbout the roleJoin our dynamic Payroll team and dive into the captivating world of payroll!As an Assistant Payroll Administrator, you'll be responsible for accurate data entry, managing essential processes like new employee onboarding through our Induction program, and assisting with thorough audits of our payroll system and employee records database.To thrive in this role, you'll need experience with Excel and payroll, a solid understanding of compliance, confidentiality, record keeping, and Fair Work regulations.Key priorities Coordinate the onboarding for employees, including hosting New Employee Inductions.Liaise with HR/Talent Acquisition to ensure timely receipt of required documents.Communicate with internal customers and assist with payroll queries.Prepare payroll information for data entry, support quality control, and maintain accurate records.Assist Payroll Administrators with payroll processing, overpayment recovery, leave management, and reporting.Maintain payroll records systematically and ensure data accuracy in the employee database.Identify efficiency improvements and participate in special projects.Share ideas to enhance departmental processes.Ways of workingThis role provides a hybrid setup, based at our Sunshine Coast headquarters, allowing for remote work on Mondays and Fridays if desired.About you Preference given to candidates with payroll experience.Unquestionable integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality.Excellent attention to detail.Strong mathematical skills.Proficient computer skills, including at least intermediate proficiency in Excel and Word.Team player with the ability to work independently.Willingness to enrol in payroll-related training and workshops.How to applyWe would love the opportunity to get to know you better, but we know it works both ways.Get to know a little more about us at youi.com.au and click "
