Job DescriptionWe are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Assistant Outlets Manager to join our prestigious food and beverage team in Sofitel Brisbane Central. As an Assistant Outlets Manager, you will lead a diverse team of hospitality professionals to create unforgettable experiences for our guests in our award-winning restaurant, Bistro Suzette, our elegant lobby bar, Cuvee and our In-Room Dining & Mini Bar services.
Assist in overseeing daily operations of multiple food and beverage outletsCollaborate with the Outlets Manager to develop and implement strategies for improving service quality and efficiencySupervise and support staff, ensuring adherence to service standards and company policiesCollaborate with other hotel departments to strategise on new product and service offeringsHandle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints professionally and efficientlyConduct regular staff training sessions to enhance skills and product knowledgeEnsure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulationsAssist in organising and executing special events and promotionsMaintain excellent relationships with vendors and suppliers.QualificationsMinimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role within a fast-paced, high-end restaurant environmentExcellent knowledge of food and beverage operations, including wine and beverage serviceProven experience with point of sale systems and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong understanding of inventory management and cost control principlesBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferredExceptional communication and organisational skillsDemonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environmentStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailAbility to remain calm and courteous while focusing on guest needsKnowledge of health and safety regulations in the food service industryFlexibility to work varying shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidaysPassion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating memorable dining experiences.Additional InformationBring passion and dedication to excellence, and we will recognise your contribution with a variety of benefits, rewards and development opportunities.
