You play an integral part in delivering category growth for GPC, supporting delivering our key initiatives in line with strategy, working with marketing on trade and retail catalogues, maintaining and owning product master and digital data as well as market / pricing analysis.
What your day could look like: Assist in ensuring marketing catalogue content / creation deadlines are met, both trade & retailMaintaining the digital content for the B2CData analysis and review – providing recommendations to category teamLiaising with suppliers – new products / part creation through to launchReporting / data analyticsGeneral administration support related to the role and category teamInternal and external stakeholder relationship building – sales & operations, marketing, finance, procurement teamsWhat we're looking for: Ideally a tertiary graduate (although not essential) or previous experience in a trainee buyer role, assistant category / product manager or management assistant experience in a B2B and/or a B2C industryRetail or FMCG experience desirableExperience in automotive, engineering, industrial / technical space is a bonusStrong communication skills and the ability to develop solid stakeholder relationshipsMedium to high level excel skills and sound experience in all other Microsoft packagesA love of data and ability to analyse information, identify key points and make recommendationsAdministrative prowessA natural ability to be organisedA resilient, tenacious personality, comfortable working in fast-paced environments, meeting defined deadlines and able to work with set objectives and information.GPC Asia Pacific: Movement is in our DNA.
