About the Opportunity
The Royal Australian Navy's (RAN) Bridge Training Faculty (BTF) is a world class training facility that features 6 full and 4-part mission simulators for training Naval Officers in navigation and warfare using simulation technology. The Assistant Maritime Warfare Instructor works alongside the Senior Maritime Warfare Instructor and RAN staff to provide high quality training to Maritime Warfare Officers. Specifically, the role requires the Assistant Maritime Warfare Instructor to operate the simulator and act as an integral part of the training team to provide realistic scenario-based training to RAN Officers. Serco will provide training to meet these specific requirements as well as aid in gaining civilian qualifications in Training and Assessment.
