Outback Spirit Tours offers a range of unique adventure tours and luxury short stays across our beautiful country. Our adventures capture the very essence of Australia, from the rugged red cliffs of the Kimberley to the unspoiled natural wonder of Tasmania, we bring iconic experiences to life. We operate 9 lodges in some of the most remote, inaccessible and beautiful locations. Our team of guides, drivers, camp and operations staff are passionate about the outdoors and take pride in bringing our guests on the adventure of a lifetime.
ABOUT THE ROLE: Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Manager at our renowned lodges across Western Australia, Northern Territory, and Queensland. We are seeking experienced and passionate individuals who are ready to play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of our iconic properties.
In this hands-on position, you will lead and manage a dedicated team, overseeing guest activities, staff rosters, logistics, and administration. Your primary goal will be to inspire your team to deliver unforgettable experiences for our guests.
Key Responsibilities: Actively work towards achieving high Net Promoter Scores (NPS) and enhancing guest satisfaction.Ensure the team delivers an impeccable guest-facing experience at all times.Lead and support your team in providing exceptional food and beverage experiences.Monitor budgets and implement cost-control measures to optimise lodge operations.Uphold high standards of accommodation for our guests, ensuring cleanliness and comfort.Promote a culture of safety, ensuring all incidents and hazards are reported and addressed promptly.Complete necessary administrative tasks as required by the operations team.Take an active role in staff inductions and training to foster a skilled and motivated workforce.This is a remote position, and you will be required to live and work at one of our properties for the entire season. We provide all meals and accommodation. Please be aware of the unique challenges and limitations associated with long-term remote living. ABOUT YOU: As a multi-skilled professional with a passion for hospitality, you possess a friendly disposition, exceptional verbal communication skills, and a strong teamwork mindset.
Requirements: Previous experience working in remote locations.A genuine enthusiasm for hospitality, travel, tourism, and adventure.A commitment to delivering exceptional service, creating lasting memories for our guests.High levels of interpersonal and communication skills.Proven experience in various aspects of hospitality.Ability to think quickly and adapt while meeting deadlines.Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) certificate.Current Remote First Aid certification (including CPR).Food Safety Supervisor certificate.MR/HR Licence (desirable).Please note that a National Criminal History Check is a mandatory step in the recruitment process.
