The purpose of this role is to fulfil the role of Assistant Manager by managing shifts in the absence of the Restaurant Manager. The Assistant Manager supports and models exceptional "up to SCRATCH" customer service, high quality products and superior standard of compliance as well as managing and motivating the Restaurant Team.
Roster: The Morning Assistant Manager will work 4:00 am to 12:00 pm or 5:00 am to 1:00 pm. The Night Manager will work 6:00 pm to 2:00 am or 7:00 pm to 3:00 am.
What This Role Involves: Support the Restaurant Manager to train and develop all team members to ensure all requirements of the business are met. Ensure people capability planner is in place for all key management positions. Support the Restaurant Manager to ensure all team members are provided with training and ongoing coaching as specified by the Operational standards and How Do I cards (HDIs). Attend all required training as specified for the Assistant Manager role as requested by the company. Assist the Restaurant Manager with controlling all business costs inclusive of rosters and wage spend, food and operational costs and expenses in accordance with agreed budgets. Manage shrinkage and wastage and cash control procedures are all adhered to. Ensure team members are trained and engaged in suggestive selling and providing exceptional service and high-quality products. Ensure all Workplace Health and Safety policies and regulations are in place and that all policies and procedures are adhered to by all team members. Ensure all near misses, incidents and hazards are identified and documented in accordance with company guidelines. The company maintains a zero tolerance to breaches of WHS policies. Desired Skills and Experience The Ideal Candidate Will Have: 3+ years of a Supervisory role in QSR/Fast Food in a branded food business. Leading a team in a customer focused environment. Experience in Cost management - Food Controls and Labour Management. Access to your own reliable transport (essential).
