Your new roleAn opportunity now exists for a full-time Corporate Tax Accountant, ideally with at least 4 years work experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier accounting firm.
In this role you will:Prepare and review technical tax advice and reportsTax compliance including the review of income tax returns and tax effect accounting calculationsLeading or coaching a team of junior tax professionalsProblem-solving, including identifying and implementing tax-effective structuringManaging complex appointments and delivering within budgets while adding valueDevelopment and delivery of internal tax trainingInterpreting complex legislation and delivering technically accurate and commercially appropriate advice to clients.What you bringTo be successful in this role, your communication skills, integrity, and trust will be paramount, coupled with your focus and commitment to clients. You will possess exceptional analytical and report writing skills with a consultative style and manner. You will be:
CA / CPA QualifiedExemplary technical knowledge with exposure to tax & advisory services.Experience in Corporate Tax or Tax Consulting in a Mid-tier or Big 4 firm.Broad commercial expertise and judgment.Excellent stakeholder engagement skills | Main contact for most engagements, often dealing with more senior members of client staff.Intimate understanding of clients and our business, suggesting ways we can improve the clients or our own business or procedures.Able to write technical letters and reports.Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.Strong desire to learn and grow skills.What we bringAt Pitcher Partners we pride ourselves on creating a positive, energetic and diverse work environment – one that is based on teamwork, learning and open communication.
