Assistant Manager / Manager, Corporate TrustYou will work closely with members of the Corporate Trust team, and coordinate and manage the provision of timely and accurate trustee services for a portfolio of trusts including coordinating corporate secretarial, director approvals, investor reporting and corporate accounting services in relation to these funds.
Some of the things you'll be doing: Service delivery and management of a book of investment manager clients and fundsDaily operations of each client / fund and ensure operational excellence is maintainedOnboarding and integration of new clients and trusts and offboarding of schemes that are winding upReview of trust's constituent documents and set up governance and compliance frameworks for new funds to facilitate trust formation and operationDeal activity including acquisitions, divestments, capex, refinancing, capital calls or any other relevant mattersMonitor service providers who are preparing the trust's accounts, tax returns, business activity statements, annual investor income reports and other mandatory reportsOversee service providers to ensure they are complying with service level agreements, regulatory requirements, the trust deed and the lawAssist the team to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance plan controls including Know Your Client and Anti-Money Laundering ChecksWork closely with senior management to ensure compliance is managed appropriately in accordance with compliance policies and proceduresEstablish, maintain and adhere to operating proceduresParticipate in ongoing automation and improvement of systems and processesInvolvement in projects and other ad hoc duties as requiredWhat technical skills, experience, and qualifications do you need? Australian recognised qualification in Accounting / Tax / LawMinimum 4-6 years of working experience in a Legal, Accounting, Audit, Funds or Governance roleAn understanding of the role of a TrusteeClient management skills and relationship management experienceKnowledge of the managed funds industry and operational experience relating to managed investment schemesFluent in English both verbally and in writingWorks well under pressure, delivers results and meets customer expectationsWorks collaboratively and enjoys working with and influencing peopleStrong verbal and written communication skillsSelf-starter with good planning and organizational skillsHighly principled and able to resolve issuesAbout UsCSC is a global business, legal, and financial services company based in Wilmington, Delaware, USA, providing knowledge-based solutions to clients worldwide.
