This role has distinct responsibilities and tasks, along with partnering with the Centre Manager and Educational Leader to provide a high-quality service offering for children, families, and community.At Kilsyth Kids we demonstrate our strong commitment to education and community. As part of the Centre Leadership team, you'll play a pivotal role supporting and developing Educators & Teachers in your centre. You'll form strong relationships with children, families, and communities, and understand the significance of your role.As the Assistant Centre Manager, you will demonstrate well-developed leadership skills and high-level administration skills. In this role, you will:Work in partnership with the Centre Manager and Educational Leader to form an effective Centre Leadership Team overseeing daily service operations.Undertake systematic daily, weekly, and monthly administration tasks using the Childcare Management System OWNA.Partner with the Centre Manager to ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law, the National Regulations, state-based regulations, and in-house processes and procedures.Support families in-centre to provide a welcoming and trusting experience.Establish and nurture strong relationships with children, families, educators, the local business community, and all stakeholders.Actively participate in attracting, converting, and retaining families through effective management of tours, enrolments, and orientation.Effectively handle the centre's financial requirements in line with budget guidelines.Uphold consistent high-quality standards for centre presentation and work practices.Represent and promote the service positively to all stakeholder groups.To be considered, you will have:A completed Diploma in Children's Services and/or Bachelor of Education (or working towards).Prior experience working in a long day-care centre in a senior or leadership role.Sound, practical working knowledge and implementation of the NQF and the EYLF.Budget and financial accountability experience.Current First Aid and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates, and current Working with Children check.About UsJoining our team means becoming part of a community that values growth, collaboration, and the joy of early childhood education.
