About the role As an Assistant Manager at Ibis Sydney World Square, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day operations of this vibrant hotel. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the smooth running of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and leading a talented team. This full-time role is based in the heart of Sydney CBD.
Job DescriptionOverseeing daily hotel activity to deliver excellent customer serviceMonitoring staff performance and providing coaching and mentoring to develop the teamImplementing and maintaining hotel policies, procedures and standardsAnalysing hotel performance data and making recommendations to improve efficiency and profitabilityFostering a positive work culture and promoting teamwork amongst the hotel staffHandling guest enquiries and complaints in a professional and timely mannerQualificationsSignificant experience (1-2 years) in a similar Assistant Manager or GSA ready to take the next stepStrong leadership and people management skills with the ability to motivate and develop a teamExcellent communication and customer service skills to liaise with guests, staff and other stakeholdersProficient in using hotel management software and data analysis toolsA thorough understanding of hotel operations, including front office, housekeeping and food and beverageRelevant tertiary qualifications in Hospitality Management or a related fieldWhat we offerCompetitive salary and bonus structureOpportunities for career progression and professional developmentDiscounted accommodation and dining at Accor HotelsAbout us Ibis Sydney World Square is a modern, centrally located hotel offering comfortable accommodation and excellent facilities for both business and leisure travellers.
