We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as an Assistant Manager at Little Shack. The Assistant Manager will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of the cafe bar and delivering an exceptional customer experience.
Responsibilities Team Leadership
- Supervise and motivate team members.
- Labour management and HR.
- Provide training and support to enhance team performance.
- Lead by example and foster a positive work environment. Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Handle customer feedback and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Operations
- Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor inventory and coordinate with suppliers.
- Maintain cleanliness and adherence to health and safety standards.
- Implement policies and procedures. Financial Management
- Assist with cost control and wastage.
- Manage cash handling and transactions accurately.
- Contribute to achieving revenue and profit targets. Reporting
- Generate and analyse relevant reports.
- Communicate key performance indicators to management.
- Contribute insights for business improvement. Qualifications Required - Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality industry. - Strong leadership and communication skills. - Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities. - Knowledge of coffee and food & beverage industry trends. - Understanding of alcohol-related compliance. - Familiarity with point-of-sale systems and basic accounting principles. - Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends and holidays.
