This is an exciting opportunity to join the dynamic team at Hamo Hospitality as an Assistant Manager. In this full-time role, you will be based in Geelong VIC 3220, playing a key role in the day-to-day operations and strategic direction of one of our new venues.
What you'll be doing Assisting the Venue Manager in leading and motivating the front-of-house team to deliver exceptional customer service. Overseeing the smooth running of daily operations, inventory management, and financial reporting. Implementing and enforcing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant regulations. Identifying and capitalising on opportunities to improve efficiency, increase revenue, and enhance the overall customer experience. Providing support and guidance to junior team members, and contributing to their professional development. Ensuring premises are consistently kept clean and presented perfectly. What we're looking for Significant experience in a similar venue management or assistant management role, ideally within the hospitality industry. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. A proven track record of driving operational efficiencies and implementing innovative solutions. Proficiency in using relevant hospitality management software and systems. A passion for the hospitality industry and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
