An opportunity has become available for an Assistant Manager (Food Services Production) to join Gold Coast Health (GCH) where the focus of our 12,000-strong team is on providing world-class health care to people living in the Gold Coast, and northern New South Wales region of Australia.
You will: Coordinate the day to day production operations and food across Gold Coast Health Service. Responsible for the production section of the Delegate Food Service System. Ensure the efficient use of food resources through the coordination of purchases and processes. Oversee daily plating line operations and ensure end product quality. About you: To be successful in this position you will require:
Certificate III in Commercial Cooking or equivalent qualification recognised in Australia. Evidence of vaccination, or be able to be vaccinated against and remain vaccinated against - Measles, Mumps, Rubella, Varicella, Pertussis and Hepatitis B. Tuberculosis screening to identify if the tuberculosis vaccination may be required. Declaration of serious discipline history must be disclosed. Criminal History Screening will be required for new employees (GCH will cover cost). Flexible work options. Salary Packaging. Modern Facilities. Diverse Work Culture. 12.75% super. 17.5% leave loading. Temporary full time (one position, up to 6 months with the possibility of extension). Base salary ranging from $3,161.70 - $3,481.60 per fortnight. About Us: The Nutrition and Food Services department provides leadership for effective and efficient Nutrition and Hydration management in conjunction with the key stakeholders.
