Are you ready for an exciting opportunity in a thriving rural community? The Commercial Hotel in Charters Towers is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Manager to assist the Venue Manager.

Experience the best of country living in Charters Towers, a vibrant and historic town known for its close-knit community, beautiful landscapes, and rich history. A unique chance to manage a venue in a relaxed, supportive environment away from the hustle and bustle of city life.

Commercial Hotel offers friendly service in a warm and welcoming environment. Head into the Bistro for a quality pub meal. We've got all the classic dishes, from succulent steaks to crispy schnitzels and cheesy parmis.

What You'll Do

Be a motivational and inspiring leader, develop and train the team to ensure an exceptional guest experience every timeManage the day to day operations of the Venue - open/close, back of house administration, recruiting team members, rostering and assisting guestsBring your passion for good food and creating moments that matter for our guestsBe creative - develop and grow the business through your own initiatives

Qualifications

What you'll need:

Hospitality/Retail leadership experience, ideally working across food, bars and gamingAbility to lead, develop and coach a large, multi-skilled teamOperational experience to achieve financial and business targetsHighly developed customer service skillsCurrent industry RSA, RSG, RMLV and Approved Manager qualifications.
