My client is a reputable firm that provides a number of services including business services, tax advisory, audit, corporate finance, etc., to a diverse and exciting client base. Position Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Services Assistant Manager to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in business services and tax. They should be proficient in handling and reviewing various tax matters, including Financial Accounts, Income Tax Returns (ITRs), PSI, CGT calculations, FBT, Div7A, Trust Distributions, GST Reconciliation, and lodging BASs and IASs. Experience working with SMSFs, NFPs, Companies, Trusts, Partnerships, Sole Traders, and High Net Worth Individuals (HNWIs) is highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage and oversee client files from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements.
* Handle complex tax matters, including PSI, CGT calculations, FBT, Div7A, Trust Distributions, and GST Reconciliation.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, providing exceptional service and proactive advice.
* Lead and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Contribute to the strategic planning and growth initiatives of the business services department.
Requirements:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in business services and tax.
* CA or CPA qualified, or currently undertaking studies to become qualified.
* Proficiency in XERO and MYOB software.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Energetic, ambitious, and able to think strategically.
