Job Description for Assistant Management AccountantReporting To: Finance ManagerDirect Reports: No Direct ReportsPrimary Role of the Position:Detail-OrientedProficient in financial data analysis, preparing accurate financial reportsEfficiently managing accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end closingHandling multiple tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in financial data.Key Responsibilities:Prepare weekly reports for managementPrepare weekly Linehaul report & reconcile Linehaul accrualsManage Purchase orders and process AP invoicesInvoice authorisation and prepare paymentsMonthly Balance Sheet ReconciliationPrepare other balance sheet reports in the areas of Trade Receivables and PayablesAssist with Driver PayAssist with cash allocationsOther ad hoc tasksSkills and Expertise Required:At least 1 year of experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role.A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (more desirable if studying towards CA/CPA).An energetic and positive attitude with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.A desire to work in a large, growth-oriented company, with long-term career development in mind.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel#J-18808-Ljbffr
