Job Description for Assistant Management Accountant
Reporting To: Finance Manager
Direct Reports: No Direct Reports
Primary Role of the Position:
Detail-Oriented Proficient in financial data analysis, preparing accurate financial reports Efficiently managing accounts payable, reconciliations, and month-end closing Handling multiple tasks, managing deadlines, and ensuring accuracy in financial data.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare weekly reports for management Prepare weekly Linehaul report & reconcile Linehaul accruals Manage Purchase orders and process AP invoices Invoice authorisation and prepare payments Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliation Prepare other balance sheet reports in the areas of Trade Receivables and Payables Assist with Driver Pay Assist with cash allocations Other ad hoc tasks Skills and Expertise Required:
At least 1 year of experience in an Assistant Management Accountant or similar role.
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (more desirable if studying towards CA/CPA).
An energetic and positive attitude with the ability to adapt to dynamic environments.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
A desire to work in a large, growth-oriented company, with long-term career development in mind.
