The Assistant Legal Officer/Associate Deputy Registrar of Probates is a technically qualified junior legal officer with multiple functions. Subject to the direction of the Registrar of Probates or a Senior Deputy Registrar of Probates, the Associate Deputy Registrar of Probates provides legal guidance to the legal profession and to the public. The Associate Deputy Registrar of Probates also provides technical support to the Probate Registry staff by assisting with case workflow and undertaking legal research.
Requirements:
The successful applicant must have a Bachelor of Laws and be admitted to practice in the Supreme Court.
Special Conditions:
Appointment is under the Courts Administration Act 1993 . Terms and Conditions of employment are governed by the Public Sector Act 2009 . Appointment is dependent upon a current National Police Certificate that the CAA finds satisfactory. As a justice agency, the CAA may receive details of spent convictions as part of any Criminal History Screening and use this information in the selection process. Appointees may be directed to disclose their COVID-19 vaccination status. Remuneration:
LE1 ($68,708 to $78,657 per annum)
