St Leo's Catholic College is seeking to appoint an energetic and highly skilled Assistant Leader of Learning - Religion for a permanent full-time appointment commencing Term 1 2025.
This position attracts a 1 point coordinator allowance.

Specific Criteria Working collaboratively with teachers at the school you will be responsible for implementing innovative and evidence informed practices that improve outcomes for all.

Be a highly effective, skilled classroom practitioner committed to the ethos of the Catholic School Be suitably qualified to teach Religion and any other subject.
Have the capacity to contribute to the school's Continuous Improvement Cycle and be committed to student achievement Have the capacity to create a learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of all learners through varied teaching strategies and be supportive of the Strategic Plan of the College.
A willingness to analyse and reflect on student learning data to ensure learning growth for all students Highly effective in managing and facilitating safe and supportive learning environments with an understanding of positive student welfare practices Willingness to contribute to the broader extracurricular aspects of school life as an active member of the school community Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic professional learning community.
Proficient in the use of technology to enhance student learning Applicants who are not currently working in a Broken Bay systemic school must have a 4 year training qualification or be enrolled to undertake further study that will provide them with a four year trained qualification to be eligible to apply for any teaching position in the Diocese.
