The Role A vacancy currently exists within the Central Services Laboratory for a Lab Assistant. Reporting to the Laboratory Supervisor – Production, you will provide timely and accurate preparation and analysis of a variety of metallurgical and plant samples. This is a residential role based in Mount Isa on a 4 day/4-night shift roster.
This is an entry level labouring position, supporting the Laboratory's commitment to provide assays to plant areas across the mining lease. You will be required to collect, prepare and analyse a range of samples, using various analytical techniques.
Minimum of two years' experience in a similar environment will be an advantage; however, training and development will be offered. You will also be required to hold an Australian manual driver licence.
