Assistant Inventory & Planning ManagerWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Inventory Operations Coordinator to support our Inventory Manager and oversee the daily functions of our inventory department based in our Distribution Centre in Tullamarine.
The Role You Could Play: Develop and implement plans for incoming inventory storage space.Coordinate with receiving teams for timely and accurate processing of inventory.Oversee the movement of excess stock to offsite storage facilities.Manage returns from offsite facilities when inventory levels are low.Monitor and update SKU master data, including dimensions and weights.Create and maintain Tableau reports for insights into inventory performance.Identify root causes of discrepancies and collaborate on improvements.Identify and implement solutions for inventory process enhancements.What You Will Bring: Strong understanding of warehousing operations and a continuous improvement mindset.Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.Proficient in PostgreSQL, advanced Excel (including macros), and Tableau.Strong analytical, organisational, and multitasking skills.Demonstrate commitment to safety and continuous learning.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Your Life At MECCA Whilst we are singularly focused on our #CustomerFirst mantra, we know that wouldn't be possible without an incredible team that is guided by our MECCA values and motivated each and every day to be solutions focused, innovative, collaborative and adaptable, and have a bit of fun along the way!
