About the Role
Ward 6C is a 30 bedded Medical Oncology ward catering to the local community of the Northern Beaches in Sydney. Specialties include Oncology and Palliative Care. We support continuing education for all staff through our education department and have clinical nurse educators on the ward. We are looking for a talented AIN to join our team ASAP!
Responsibilities: Assist nurses or hospital staff in carrying out patient care duties.Work as part of the health care team; practice in accordance with state legislation and within the designated scope of practice parameters.Assess patients using therapeutic skills.Qualifications: Certificate III/IV (from an approved training provider) in Community and Health Services, Personal Carer, or be an undergraduate nursing student.Excellent ability to plan and prioritise work.Highly developed verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.Previous experience as an Assistant in Nursing desired.Employee Benefits:
