Due to company expansion, an exciting opportunity has been created for a Full Time ICT Assistant Manager to join our team, based in Ellenbrook, Western Australia.
As the Assistant ICT Manager, you will work closely with the Head of ICT and other stakeholders to maintain and enhance our company's technology infrastructure. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring systems and networks operate efficiently while identifying opportunities to improve and innovate. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership capabilities, and project management skills to meet the company's ICT objectives effectively.
This exciting role provides the opportunity to support the strategic development of ICT systems, contribute to impactful projects, and lead a team dedicated to delivering excellence in IT solutions.
Preferred skills and experience: Strong knowledge of ICT infrastructure, including servers, virtualisation, cloud technologies, networking, and cyber security.Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues and implement effective solutions.Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise work in a fast-paced environment.Hands-on experience with IT security frameworks, backup systems, and disaster recovery planning.Experience in supporting or leading ICT projects, including system migrations or company-wide implementations.Familiarity with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Device Management and other common business applications.Knowledge of project management methodologies.Hands-on skills to support device/equipment installations and fault finding.Experience in an educational institution (Preferred).Key Responsibilities: Strategic SupportSystems ManagementOperational OverviewPolicy DevelopmentProject ManagementTechnology InnovationCompliance and ReportingCurrently hold or willing to obtain: National Police CheckWorking with Children's CheckUnrestricted working rights in AustraliaThe fine print: Applicants must have rights to work in Australia without sponsorship.Remuneration: A company laptop and phone is provided with this position. #J-18808-Ljbffr
