Assistant Hse Engineer

Job DescriptionConduct toolbox meetings and implement WSH measures at siteConduct regular site inspections and follow up actions to ensure safety complianceCompile all safety records and reportsConduct safety audits and generate reportsEnsure each person working on site is registered in the site register and carry out site specific induction for each person working on sitesInvestigate and report on any accidents or incidents that occur and take the necessary action to prevent future occurrencePrepare method of statements, risk assessments, safe work procedure and other reports requiredHandle all safety issues and routines on siteLiaise with all stakeholders to ensure safety is practiced on siteParticipate in ad-hoc projects including but not limited to department training, emergency evacuation exercises, planning and execution of emergency rescue operation, and security and safety planning for external events and projectsReport incidents and accidents to managementAssist internal medical team in monitoring the condition of injured or downgraded workersJob RequirementsDiploma in Workplace Safety & Health/Engineering or related disciplineEnsure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirementsGood knowledge of Safety Regulations and Procedures
