About the role: Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people and looking for that next step in a leadership position?
This position is responsible to oversee the daily care of Young People in our residential care homes.
In this rewarding role, you will step in during the House Supervisor's absence, ensuring a nurturing and safe environment for our residents.
As part of our Out of Home Care Program, you will play a vital role in shaping the experiences of young people while collaborating with the House Supervisor.
We have 2 Full-Time opportunities based in Fawkner and Thornbury, VIC within our Out of Home Care Program.

Our Offer: Hourly Rate of $43.08 to $46.35 as outlined in the SCHADS Award Level 4, dependent on qualification and experience.
Penalty and allowances are applied on top of hourly rate. A knowledge and understanding of Aboriginal culture and values and an awareness of the current issues faced by Aboriginal children, young people and their families. Demonstrated ability to supervise, lead and support a team of residential care workers. Demonstrated experience and knowledge of the residential care field, particularly within a therapeutic environment. Proven ability to relate to and work with young people with social, emotional and behavioural difficulties. Requirements: Hold a current and valid Driver's Licence; Hold a current and valid Employee Working with Children Check; Satisfactory Criminal History Check (paid for by MacKillop); Hold a valid and current NDIS Workers Screening Check; Relevant Diploma with substantial experience, including four (4) additional mandatory competencies (top up units); Our Commitment: MacKillop celebrates and draws strength from diversity and respects the dignity of all people.
