Opening this December, Veriu Macquarie Park will be our flagship property—our largest and most ambitious project yet. We're seeking a dedicated Assistant Hotel Manager (with a Food & Beverage background) to lead our initial breakfast concept solution as we bring our new hotel to life. Veriu has designed a unique breakfast offering while our permanent F&B space undergoes a tender process for an external contractor. We need an experienced professional to execute this concept, leveraging your industry expertise and supplier contacts to establish processes, onboard and train a small team, ensure compliance with food safety standards, and manage daily reporting for consumables, payroll, and expenses. This role is your chance to showcase your skills in a hands-on environment and drive success from the start.
We're looking for someone eager to learn the Veriu way, working closely with the General Manager to gain exposure to our unique operating model. Initially focused on executing the breakfast concept, this role will transition into a rooms-focused position within 6-12 months, where you'll bring to life a culture that sets people up for success and lead by example with kindness, setting you on a clear path to grow within Veriu Group.
Responsibilities As the Assistant Hotel Manager, you'll be at the forefront of executing our breakfast concept, creating an exceptional guest experience from the hotel's opening. You'll work closely with our pre- and post-opening teams, demonstrating F&B expertise while gaining exposure to rooms operations.
