Career development opportunities to challenge yourself, grow and make a meaningful difference Your part in St Andrew's War Memorial The Assistant Health Information Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of the Health Information Service (HIS).
This position supports the Health Information Manager in ensuring the accuracy, integrity and security of hospital health information, whilst contributing to strategic initiatives that overall enhance the quality of the information management service.
What makes a difference for us? Bachelor of Health Information Management (HIM) or equivalent - suitable for new graduate Knowledge of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, ACS and AR-DRGs Proficient in the collection, storage and management of healthcare data, with strong data analysis skills and a thorough understanding of legislative requirements, national standards, quality benchmarks and hospital policy / procedures Knowledge of the impact of clinical documentation and coding on the private hospital revenue cycle Time management and prioritisation skills with an ability to remain focused in a busy environment Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks effectively to meet deadlines Demonstrated ability to work effectively within a team environment St Andrew's War Memorial Hospital is proudly part of the UnitingCare family, we'd love you to be too.
