The Catholic Schools Office is currently recruiting for a Permanent Full-time Assistant Head of School Improvement to join their leadership team, with the start date to be negotiated.

Job Description The Assistant Head School Improvement will foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, agility, accountability and trust. As a member of the CSO's leadership team, this role will promote effective collaboration between CSO, Diocesan and Shared Services colleagues, to deliver optimal outcomes for the school system.
This role leads the school improvement team in supporting and improving organisational culture, leadership and performance across schools and in delivering programs that provide a strong basis for growth. Through targeted interventions and effective collaboration with diocesan colleagues, this role will deliver overall growth and progress of the school system into the future and support schools to achieve continuous improvement in student educational outcomes.
Desired Skills and Experience EXPERIENCE/CRITERIA Practising Catholic active in the life of a Eucharistic community, with an understanding of their baptismal call to share and witness the good news of Jesus Christ. Demonstrated success as a system or school leader in leading and supporting effective school operations. Demonstrated success in implementing high profile and complex business projects with cross functional partners, through collaborative working and development of community partnerships. Exceptional communication, stakeholder engagement, change management and partnership skills and ability to influence key personnel at varying levels of the organisation. Demonstrated ability to assess and support schools in setting and achieving strategic priorities; initiating and driving improvement, innovation, and change; and embedding and applying new learning within a rapidly changing sector and global environment. Demonstrated experience in interpreting analytics, with a strong understanding of business performance reporting metrics. Proven experience in leading, developing and managing teams to achieve their goals.
