The College is looking for applicants to join our PDHPE Faculty as a permanent full-time Assistant Head of Department, commencing Term 1, 2025.
The Assistant Head of Department will assist the Head of Department in the ongoing development and supervision of the curriculum and the quality of teaching and learning provided for each student.
ESSENTIAL Relevant teaching qualifications in PDHPE.Accredited as a Proficient Teacher in NSW.NESA Registration.Current Working with Children Check.DESIRABLE Experience and Qualifications in Leadership (or be working towards).An understanding of Good Samaritan Schools Teaching and Learning Framework.Proven ability to work in a collaborative environment as a member of a team.Previous experience in a middle leadership role.The ability to teach dance may be an advantage.Cover letter outlining suitability for the position.Resume which includes details of qualifications, relevant experience, and the names and contact details of three referees.Copies of academic transcripts or relevant qualifications.Mount St Benedict College is committed to ensuring the safety, welfare, and wellbeing of all children and young people at the College.
