About the role Applications are sought for the full-time position of Assistant Head of Campus - Learning & Pedagogy (Year 10-12 Campus) to commence in 2025.
This is a POL 4 position for 2025 - 2026 with an ongoing full-time teaching position.
Responsibilities The Assistant Head of Campus - Learning & Pedagogy (AHoC - LaP) has a key role in the implementation of the College's Learning and Teaching Framework, Padua's Instructional Model, and the execution of Padua's Educational Strategic Plan.
As a member of the Learning and Teaching Executive, they set the direction for student learning across all year levels on the Campus, ensuring every student's opportunities for success are maximised.
They provide leadership in curriculum development and support a learning environment that enables staff and students to strive for growth and personal excellence.
Effective leadership of learning and teaching explicitly connects high-quality teaching to student engagement, successful learning, and positive student outcomes.
The AHoC - LaP will work in partnership with the Instructional Coaches and the Director of Innovation to guide and support staff across the Campus.
The position is focused on leadership of curriculum and program development, evaluation, and refinement.
Major Areas of Responsibility In partnership with the Instructional Coaches, the AHoC LaP assumes a lead role in building capacity and cultivating the learning culture on Campus.Overseeing the Year 10-12 Campus learning and teaching program to ensure each student's learning is challenging, authentic, engaging, and continuous.Leading a learning environment where programs are future-focused on theory, practice, and design.Managing the Year 10-12 Campus subject selection, student orientation, and internal and external examination procedures efficiently.Managing and administering the learning and teaching program on the Year 10-12 Campus.Performing other day-to-day duties as requested by the Principal or the College Improvement Team.Salary Remuneration: According to the CEMEA 2022, $78,021.00 - $115,737.00 per annum, plus 11.5% superannuation.
