Responsibilities: Assist General Manager in maximizing revenue opportunities and minimizing costs.
Ensure the team provides the highest levels of service to every customer either in shop or through delivery.
Ensure product quality and presentation is maintained to an excellent standard.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of products and encourage staff to develop their product knowledge.
Assist General Manager with the recruitment process and trial shifts when required.
Together with General Manager, identify training needs to improve team performance.
Work with the General Manager on building a team within the shop which will enable it to meet or exceed targets and achieve bonuses.
Ensure all company policies and procedures in relation to HR are fully implemented, communicated, and understood by all staff.
Ensure that the restaurant is open and adequately staffed during the trading hours required.
Minimum Requirements: Management experience in a customer-facing environment within the food/hospitality industry.
Food Safety and H&S Level 2 minimum.
Ideally First Aid trained.
Good planning and organizational skills.
Totally customer-focused and passionate about the business.
Calm under pressure.
Be able to manage, motivate, and coach teams.
Results-driven with a proven track record of performance.
Good communication skills and fluent English.
