This pivotal role exists to assist our Front of House Manager with the onsite delivery of all events & management of wider food & beverage staff. This role consists of 90% onsite event work & 10% administrative tasks.
Overview of Role Duties & Requirements:Ensure Events Run to ScheduleMotivate & Lead a Team, while Improving Personal DevelopmentBrief all FOH staff onsite prior to the event to ensure all team members are aware of their roles & responsibilities of the eventDelegate tasks to staff per event, ensuring impartiality, but evaluating staff abilities & progressionWork closely with the Front of House Manager, General Manager, Kitchen Manager & Events ManagementEnforce Company Health, Safety and Security ProceduresRegular reporting to FOH Manager regarding performance, staff suitability, highlighting success stories & addressing areas for improvementAustralian Open Drivers Licence3 Year minimum experience in a similar role around high-end dining restaurants, hotels, functions or eventsCurrent Responsible Service of Alcohol CertificateA passion for great food, wine and beer is essential!Provide food and beverage service to different styles of event e.g., Carry min 3 plates for dining eventsExcellent written and oral communicationAbility to work under pressure while maintaining a positive outlook and professional mannerComfortability in high pressure events, always thinking forwardPrior food hygiene training and/or accreditation is essentialStrong interpersonal skills, being able to deal with clients and staff across all levels and demographicsProven leadership qualities and ability to delegate tasksManaging a team across a variety of tasks and spaceHardworking, physically fit and reliable – This role is 90% onsite, 10% administrative tasksImmaculate personal presentationDoes this sound like you?Help lead a team, learn new skills and grow with us!
