Melbourne CBD - $80,000-$85,000 plus Super Automation and career progression opportunities About Our Client Our client is part of Australia's largest fund manager and is an active manager of infrastructure assets in Australia.
They directly manage a number of long term Public Private Partnership infrastructure asset businesses on behalf of investors and are going through a transformational period.
This position is based in Melbourne's CBD.
Job Description Reporting to the Financial Controller and Senior Treasury Analyst, and partnering closely with the Financial Accountant, your duties will include but not be limited to: End to end Accounts Payable process which included supplier invoice recording and processing of payments (including Payroll Tax, Employee Claims, Capital Expenditures) for review and approval Be heavily involved with the implementation of procure-to-pay to automate Accounts Payable Assist in the month end general ledger reconciliations (accruals, prepayments, bank reconciliations) Complete monthly bank reconciliations in relation to the company and its managed assets Assist in the preparation of the monthly cash flow workings for cash flow statement reporting Verify, process, and pay employee expenses claims and corporate credit cards Assist with the preparation of half year financial statements as required Assist with the preparation of year end statutory financial statements as required Work closely with key stakeholders within the finance function and asset categories The Successful Applicant To be successful in this position, you will have the following attributes: Strong background in Accounts Payable and automation Demonstrated understanding of fundamental bookkeeping and accounting skills Intermediate Excel skills including sums, lookups, pivot tables Experience with MYOB Experience with Netsuite or MS Business Central is advantageous Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with key stakeholders in a professional manner Desire to undertake CPA/CA qualification or currently completion What's on Offer Work from home flexibility Travel card for public transport Team lunches and social get togethers Study support and training budgets for individual development Opportunity for internal career progression
