We are currently seeking an Assistant Financial Accountant to join the team on a 5-month temporary basis.

The Position:
As a full-time and permanent member of our team, you will report directly to the Financial Controller and play a key role in the following responsibilities:
Preparation of journals, accruals, prepayments, and general ledger reconciliations.
Handling end-of-month and year-end reporting.
Maintaining the integrity of the general ledger.
Ensuring tax compliance across BAS, Income Tax, FBT, and transfer pricing.
Conducting bank reconciliations.
Collaborating with the senior finance team to assist in audit documentation and resolve audit queries.
Your Profile:
To truly thrive in this role, you will meet the following criteria:
Ideally, you have experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm (Big 4) at a Senior Accountant level, or you possess relevant commercial experience that you're eager to build upon.
While having commenced CPA/CA certification is preferred, it is not mandatory that you have completed it.
Demonstrated experience with end-of-month accounting processes, tax compliance, and reporting is crucial.
Strong exposure to tax will be a distinct advantage.
You must possess exceptional attention to detail and have the ability to take ownership of your role while consistently meeting deadlines.
Proficiency in Excel is essential, and experience working with an ERP system is highly desirable.
