Assistant Financial Accountant

A global business and leader in their field is seeking an AssistantFinancialAccountant or experienced Assistant Accountant to join their corporate headquarters located in Brisbane CBD. Joining a very high quality team you will have a varied role supporting all aspects of group financial reporting.
Your duties will include: Assisting with the month end financial close process Ensuring completeness and accuracy of the fixed assets and leases sub ledger Preparing journals Ensuring compliance with policy and standards Assisting with internal and external audits Maintaining relevant controls Assisting with all levels of reporting and associated analysis Involvement in projects such as system implementations Support for process automation and process improvementsYour experience, qualifications and attributes: Degree qualified and working towards CA/CPA qualifications Self motivated and driven to succeed Excellent attention to detail Strong computer literacy, (systems used include SAP and Qlikview) Proactive with strong organisational skillsIn return you can expect to work with some of thebest finance people in Brisbane.
