Salary: Dependent on experience. Harrowby Estates comprises two Estates, the Sandon Estate in Central Staffordshire, and the Norton Estate in North Gloucestershire. Together the Estates extend to over 6,000 acres with a large number of let farms, a substantial residential portfolio and 540 acres of woodland. Sandon Hall is run as a successful wedding and corporate venue by a separate team. The Estate has maintenance departments on both Estates and a fully staffed Estate Office.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Manager to support the Estate Manager with a range of general management and Estate duties. Preference will be given to candidates showing interest and experience in the emerging Natural Capital Markets (including BNG, Carbon Trading and Wilding / Rewilding) with a view to making the Assistant Manager the project leader on the Estate in these areas.
The role will be based predominately at the Estate Office in Sandon, with occasional travel (day visits) to the Norton Estate.
The successful candidate will be MRICS or CAAV qualified, and various levels of experience will be considered, although somebody with post qualification experience is preferred.
