Workforce Division plays an integral role in the effective management of the people resources for our service. WFD takes the lead role in the attraction, retention, learning and development, performance, complex case management, change management, safety and well-being, and engagement of our most important asset – 'our people'.
WFD comprises approximately 40 human resource practitioners who provide a high quality, client focused and value adding human resource service to management and staff throughout Central Queensland Hospital and health Service.
About the role:Workplace Relations provide specialised advice in employee and industrial relation matters including providing general legislative and policy interpretation and advice, facilitation of complex case management processes, and advocacy services to assist with appeals and disputes.
As an Assistant Workplace Relations Advisor, you will provide comprehensive administration support to ensure high-level customer service is delivered to delegates and employees in relation to various employee and industrial relation matters.
About you:Whilst there are no mandatory requirements for this role, vocational or tertiary qualifications in Employment/Industrial Relations, Human Resources or Law would be well regarded.Demonstrated ability to work autonomously, utilise discretion, prioritise and manage competing deadlines with an ability to be flexible in meeting the demands of a changing environment.Demonstrated sound knowledge or ability to acquire, understand, apply and interpret industrial instruments and policies applicable to the public sector and CQHHS.Demonstrated customer and team focus that is responsive to a diverse range of needs and requirements of customers, ensuring high work standards and an ability to uphold the values of CQHHS.What we offer:Salary information: Total remuneration value of up to $114,177 p.a. is comprised of:
