About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and organised Assistant Electoral Officer to join the office of Member for Nicklin Marty Hunt MP.
This role provides administrative, community engagement, and constituent support to ensure the effective operation of the MP's electorate office.
Key Responsibilities: Assist with managing constituent inquiries and casework, providing timely and professional responses.Support the MP and office staff with administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, correspondence, and managing office systems.Coordinate community outreach and engagement activities, including events and meetings.Maintain strong relationships with constituents, stakeholders, and community groups.Draft letters, emails, and reports as required.Key Skills & Attributes: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong organisational abilities with attention to detail.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and administrative systems.A strong understanding of local issues and a passion for serving the community.Electorate Office experience preferred.How to Apply: Submit your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role to by 5pm January 3, 2025.
